ヘンプエプロン MoNote#007

Hemp Apron — MoNote #007

Linen is often used for aprons due to its functionality (antibacterial and deodorizing properties, quick drying, water absorption and washability). It is not difficult for weavearth to provide aprons made of linen. However, since there are now many options in this field, we would like to consider the possibility of making aprons using 100% hemp.

Functionality and drape

As we mentioned in the hemp multi-cover, it has many functions among natural fibers (see MoNote #004). In addition, it has a characteristic that it has drapeability (an elegant impression where the fabric naturally sags) while retaining its firmness. This is also a feature of linen, but hemp material retains its firmness. This texture is seen in heavy, firm silk satin and rayon with a high degree of polymerization (fiber composition density). Unlike the natural feel of previous hemp materials, it creates a firm yet elegant silhouette.

Gender-free

It is made of elegant fabric and has a sturdy design, and is designed for both men and women. The shoulder straps are thick, and the pockets have buttons so that the size can be loosened, so there is plenty of room around the waist.

Simple design

The area around the button forms a large pocket. It comes in two calm colors (blue and brown).

Naturally durable and long-lasting

Hemp is known to have the strongest durability (tensile strength) of all natural fibers (as mentioned in MoNote #004). Therefore, I think it is ideal not only for kitchen work, but also for various outdoor activities. The quick-drying function will be useful in outdoor scenes, and the gender-free design makes it highly versatile.
